RELEASE NOTES Honeywell Video Analytics Build: 4.7.0.75 ========================================= This file lists late-breaking notes and known issues in this release. Key features in HVA 4.7: ------------------------ - This version is internationalized to support the following languages: - English (Default) - Dutch - German - French - Italian - Spanish - Japanese You can select the language of the client GUI applications during install. - A new Alarm Management Server (AMS) is included to provide centralized alarm management and storage. It allows multiple operators to collaboratively monitor, manage and suspend alarms coming from a large number of video analytics servers. - This version supports video input from Honeywell EQUIP™ Series cameras. The supported models include Honeywell HD4DIP, HCD554IP, HCS554IP, HD3MDIP, and ACUIX™ digital PTZ dome (only in fixed position). Known issues in the 4.7.0.75 build: ----------------------------------- - When using Sony IP cameras as video input, if configuration change is made while the camera is unreachable (e.g. network cable unplugged), the video will not automatically resume if the connection resumes. The user would have to disable and then re-enable this video input, or restart the video analytics service. - Severeal known issues in Report Scheduler: (1) If a reporting template is configured to generated chart report in HTML, the HTML file attached in the email report does not show the chart. The user is recommended oto generate reports in PDF format instead. (2) If the user modifies the email recipients of a report without applying the change and then re-logs in again or exits the application, the next time the user logs in the SMTP settings tab will display incrrect values. Restart Report Scheduler Service to correct this problem. (3) If the user modifies a reporting template without applying the change and then re-logs in again or exits the application, the next time the user logs in the edited report template will be in a 'locked' state. This will lead to report templates to be listed incorrectly. Restart Report Scheduler Service to correct this problem. (4) In the previous case, upon re-logs in if the user selectes 'Yes' to 'Save your configuration' dialog, having locked report will cause corruption in the report scheduler's configuration file when the service tries to save the configuration. As a result, the reports will not be sent correctly. To correct this problem, the user must delete the existing configuration file: C:\Program Files\Honeywell Video Systems\ActivEye\Active Alert\Reports \Reports\AEReportsEmailConfiguration.config. Restart the Report Scheduler Service and reconfigure the scheduled reports. - The window boundaries of the client GUI applications may appear slightly corrupted when the user's display is not set to the standard 96 dpi. To avoid this problem, please set the display properties to 96 dpi. - The Live Monitoring Station window may sometimes be positioned incorrectly when the user has maximized the window and accessed the scroll bars. To resolve this issue, the user is advised to go to the registry (by running 'regedit') 'My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Activeye\ActivEye Live Monitoring Station\ FrameLive' and delete all 'Bottom', 'Left', 'Right', 'Status', 'Top' keys. This will reset the window position to the upper left corner of the screen. - Hot swap relay module may require restarting the ActivEye Alarm Watch Service. If the USB relay module has been unplugged and later on plugged back in, please restart the ActivEye Alarm Watch Service manually to ensure correct function of the relay module. - The Configuration Tool window may freeze when a user is interacting with the Calibration dialog. Please restart Confinguration Tool if this occurs. - On the Live Monitoring Station, the dialog for displaying group counts may appear to be corrupted if it is placed on the secondary monitor. - Alarm Watch Health Monitor may be closed accidentally by right-clicking on the icon in the task bar. To re-launch this application, click Start->Programs->Startup->ActivEye Alarm Watch Health Monitor. It automatically detects type of EQUIP camera that has been configured on the channel. It also generates alerts to inform the administrator of any issues that may prevent the camera from streaming video to the HVA server. - Changing port number of HVA server should not cause failure when setting password for the 'admin' user at the end of installation of the full package.
